About Awasar Nepal: Bridging Nepal's Education and Opportunity Gap

Awasar Nepal is a 100% free education platform dedicated to Nepali students, offering high-quality lessons in core SEE/NEB subjects, verified extracurricular activity (ECA) opportunities across Nepal, and student-focused blogs on career guidance, mental health, and skill development.

Our History: From a Classroom to Nationwide Impact

Founded in March 2023 by a group of passionate learners and changemakers, Awasar Nepal began as TeachNepal.Tech later changed to Awasar Nepal to justify its founding principle.

Within 6 months, the platform grew from 12 volunteer teachers to a network of 85 educators across 7 provinces. The turning point came in September 2023 when a viral Chemistry video on "Mole Concept" reached 120,000 views in Bagmati Province alone, prompting the team to build a dedicated website under teachnepal.tech.

  • March 2023: The Idea of Awasar Nepal formally TeachNepal.tech came into existence
  • June-Feb 2023: Team Formation and Development work started.
  • March 2023: TeachNepal.tech was live
  • April 2024: Information Gathering, UI improvement, R&D works
  • January 2025: Changed to Awasar Nepal and the rest going on.

Our Vision: Education Without Barriers for Every Nepali Child

We envision a Nepal where geography, income, or school quality no longer determines a student's future. By 2030, Awasar Nepal aims to:

  • Reach 1 million students in all 753 local levels
  • Provide offline access via USB drives in remote Himalayan regions
  • Establish physical learning hubs in each province
  • Offer certified skill courses in coding, robotics & entrepreneurship
  • Connect students with 10,000+ annual ECA opportunities
